John N. Bardsley FGA DGA is a Fellow and Diamond Member of The Gemmological Association of Great Britain

John Bardsley joined Garrard in 1978 and trained under the late Crown Jeweller, William Summers LVO, achieving the National Association of Goldsmiths Diploma, The Fellowship of the Gemmological Association and the Gem Diamond Diploma.

In 1983 he joined a jewellery company in Johannesburg and subsequently a gem wholesale company supplying manufacturers and retailers throughout South Africa; this led to an appointment in 1988 with an international gem wholesale merchant which he represented in Thailand.

In 1990 John joined Cartier London becoming a senior sales executive specialising in fine jewellery and commission work. In 1997 he was headhunted by Garrard to rejoin the company in Regent Street as a senior executive and assistant to David Thomas MVO, which for the next five years included the care and maintenance of the state regalia at the Tower of London.

John established his business in 2003 and is available by appointment.
